Copperstate Fly-In, Casa Grande, AZ

We had the pleasure of detailing a 1938 Lockheed 12 that had been beautifully restored by it's pilot and owner of 20 years, Mr. Patrick Donovan. We made the trip up to Casa Grande in the Lockheed 12 with Mr. Donovan, and it was a unique experience that we'll never forget. It drew quite a bit of attention at the Fly-In, and also the inevitable questions about Amelia Earhart's airplane (she flew a Lockheed 10, although the recent movie about her features Lockheed 12's).
